Union Boomer LLC ("Union Boomer," "we," "us," or "our") is a Wyoming limited liability company operating the website https://unionboomer.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.

1. The Short Version

UnionBoomer is free and open. There are no accounts, no logins, and no payments. We do not know who you are. The only personal information we ever collect is an email address, and only if you choose to give us one.

2. Information We Collect

• Email address — only if you request the free PDF guide. One field, no account required.
• Content you submit — if you send us a joke, flyer idea, or field report, we receive whatever you type into that form. Do not include personal information about yourself or anyone else.
• Usage data — pages visited and general location at the city or state level, via Google Analytics.
• Device and browser information — IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, home addresses, GPS or precise location, union membership records, employment records, or payment information. We do not operate user accounts.

3. Third Party Services We Use

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — usage analytics.
• Stay22 — powers the Road Crew Hotels lodging search. When you use that feature, Stay22 receives the page URL, your approximate location, and your referring URL in order to return nearby lodging results. We earn a commission on bookings made through it. Stay22 sets its own cookies and is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — security, bot protection, and content delivery.
• Supabase — database and content hosting.
• Resend — delivery of the PDF guide and any email you have asked for.
• Google Fonts — typography. Loading fonts transmits your IP address to Google.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver the free PDF guide you requested.
• To review and publish content you submit.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To send you email only if you asked for it.

5. Affiliate Relationships

Road Crew Hotels is an affiliate feature. If you book lodging through it, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. That commission is how the site stays free. We do not receive your booking details, your name, or your payment information.

6. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell member or visitor data to contractors, employers, staffing agencies, unions, or data brokers.
• We do not build advertising profiles about you.
• We do not track you across other websites.
• We do use the analytics and affiliate partners named in Section 3, who receive limited technical data as described there.

7. Data Retention

Email addresses collected for the PDF guide are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default retention settings.

8. Your Rights

• Access — ask what we hold about you.
• Delete — ask us to delete your email address at any time.
• Unsubscribe — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Opt out of analytics — install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

9. Children

UnionBoomer is intended for adults working in or entering the building trades. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
